Spiral bamboo
Spiral lucky bamboo is one of the best choices to decorate your house
or any place in a room. Not only can it be displayed by itself,
but it can also be combined with to make a beautiful arrangement with
bamboo stalks, or artificial calla lily, tulip, tropical flowers.
How to train lucky bamboo becoming curly or spiral?
As you know, plants are always reaching to the sky, so first the grower
inclines the bamboo stalk and fixes it at an angle of 15 to 20 degrees to the earth's surface. The top of the plant will reach toward the sun; on the second turn of the plant, tip the plant 90 degrees so this new growth is parallel to the earth (0 degrees). The top of the plant will again toward the sun. To get a spiral with two rings, a grower will have to turn the plant 9 times and will need between 110 to 120 days. |

| The size of spiral bamboo is taken by measuring the straight part of the plant. The spiral part has one and a half to two rings, 5-10cm (2-4in) in height; the measurement of stalk diameter are from 0.8cm(0.3") to 1.5cm(0.6"), and the number of shoots are between 1-2.
